- “Customer,” “traveler,” “you,” “your” refers to the person booking or using our services.
- “Services” refers to tours, itineraries, travel arrangements, accommodations, transport, and related travel experiences provided by us.
2. Booking and Payments
- A booking is confirmed only after receiving a completed booking form and the required deposit.
- Final payment must be made within the deadline stated in your confirmation invoice. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your booking.
- Prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) unless otherwise stated and are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, government taxes, or supplier changes.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
- Customer Cancellations: If you cancel your booking, cancellation fees may apply depending on the time before departure. Refunds will be processed according to our cancellation policy stated at the time of booking.
- Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, supplier cancellations). In such cases, we will provide a full refund or an alternative tour option.
- Refunds will not be granted for unused services, early departures, or no-shows.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and other unforeseen events. The company is not responsible for costs arising from lack of insurance.
5. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you hold a valid passport, visas, and required health documents before traveling.
- Go New Zealand Tours is not responsible for denied entry due to incomplete or incorrect documentation.
- We may provide general information, but the traveler is ultimately responsible.
6. Tour Inclusions and Exclusions
- Inclusions: Accommodation, transport, activities, and meals as specified in your itinerary.
- Exclusions: International flights, visa fees, travel insurance, personal expenses, optional activities, and gratuities unless otherwise stated.
7. Changes to Itineraries
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or operational reasons.
- Reasonable efforts will be made to provide similar alternatives of equal value.
- No refunds will be issued for changes beyond our control.
8. Traveler Responsibilities
By booking with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete personal information.
- Comply with local laws, customs, and regulations during your trip.
- Follow the instructions of guides and tour leaders to ensure safety and enjoyment for all participants.
Take responsibility for any damages caused by your actions.
9. Health and Fitness
- Some tours may involve physical activity. It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to participate.
- You must inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary restrictions at the time of booking
- The company reserves the right to refuse participation if a traveler’s condition poses a risk to themselves or others.
10. Liability Disclaimer
- Go New Zealand Tours acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers, and activity operators. We are not liable for acts, omissions, or negligence of these third parties.
- We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, accidents, natural disasters, or events beyond our control.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for loss, damage, or injury is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, political unrest, or government actions.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on our website—including text, images, graphics, and logos—remains the property of Go New Zealand Tours. It may not be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written consent.
